Squad Leader
The Waldai Heights mapboard is available as a free download. The mapboard is required to successfully play scenario WH-1 The Paw of the Bear. You can get a pretty good 600 DPI copy of this map with just about any color printer. The map has been divided into 8 segments, with a thumbnail image for each, so that each segment can be printed on a standard 8 1/2 x 11" page. Also a full sized version of the mapboard is available if you would rather download the image yourself and carve it up for printing. If you are having problems directly printing the HTML version of the mapboard, try turning off your java, and javascript features in your web brower. Also, in your printer setup, be sure to set your print margins to 0, or as small as you can go. In your printer setup, set your print resolution to 600 DPI. Please note the images on this page are merely thumbnails to give you an idea of what the map looks like. Click on the thumbnail images here to get to the ready-to-print illustrations of the map segments. These map segments were setup for print on a 600x800 display, and with any other display settings it is unlikely that you will be able to print 3/4" hex maps. You can try setting your display to 800x600, or if you can't do that, download the map segments onto your hard drive by right clicking, and choosing "Save as" off the available menu. Once you have the images on your own HDD, you should be able to tweak the image size with just about any decent paint program like Paint Shop Pro, or Photoshop, or Corel or Paint Deluxe.
Notes: The Grain Silo at E8 is 3 stories tall.
